Garden Room in Swerford

Delighted to secure approval for a beautiful detached garden room in the grounds of the clients’ Grade II listed building in Swerford, West Oxfordshire. CTPL prepared and submitted the application, including the Planning, Design & Access and Heritage Statement, which demonstrated that the proposed garden room - to be constructed of stone, timber and slate in the classic tradition - would preserve and enhance the setting of the listed building and the character and appearance of the Conservation Area. Permission was secured inside 8 weeks. It came in the same week that the clients secured permission and listed building consent, on appeal, for extensions to their early 18th century house, after assistance by CTPL. Work is planned to start in 2022.
