Wellness Centre in Deddington

A lawful development certificate (proposed) was secured in December 2022 for a Wellness Centre in Deddington. CTPL proved that the first floor was used for residential accommodation and ancillary facilities by staff working at the former May Fu Two restaurant on the ground floor. CTPL showed that the site - due to its historical occupation, boundaries, ownership and operation - had been used, lawfully, in its entirety, as a single planning unit since 1989 when the restaurant started trading. Being a former A3 but now a Class E use the Council accepted there was no change of use to a Wellness Centre providing medical/health services to the public. The Centre, which specializes in audiology, chiropractic and other services, opened early in 2023.
